We are honored that North Texans continue to put their trust in the Sleep Experts brand, by voting us the recipient of the 2010 Consumers' Choice Award™ for business excellence in the category of Mattress Retailers.  This marks the fourth consecutive year we have been awarded this “seal of excellence”, which we believe reflects the dedication of all our employees who work hard every day to make sure you “Love your Mattress."

A big Thank You to CBS Radio stations Jack FM, KVIL, and KLUV for reaching out to listeners throughout D/FW to help us Share the Gift of Sleep with families in need.  Each of the stations held a "Share the Gift of Sleep" contest and asked listeners to write in to nominate an individual or family deserving of a new mattress.  We announced the 3 winners last week:  KVIL listener Renee Urbanyi of McKinney won a mattress for her husband who had been in a severe car accident and has served his country in the Air Force and Navy; Jack FM listener Renae Spiegel won a mattress set for her mother who recently had back surgery; and KLUV listener Joyce Vermehren of Coppell earned a mattress for her son and daughter-in-law who both have back problems and are caring for three adopted children with special needs.  Congratulations to these three winners and thanks to everyone who helped us Share the Gift of Sleep!

Thanks to the women of Interfaith Housing Coalition (pictured at left with Chris and me), I was honored to be a part of the Lakewood Service League's "All in White" spring benefit. Lakewood Service League supports more than 30 East Dallas charities, including Interfaith Housing Coalition, through community service projects and fundraising events. What a lovely evening and a nice gathering of great organizations serving the needs of families in this beautiful part of Dallas.

What a nice Mother's Day gift!  On Sunday, veteran business columnist Cheryl Hall of the Dallas Morning News featured Sleep Experts in this article: Soft image is just right for Sleep Experts.  We believe Cheryl really captured the spirit and culture of our company, and helped us introduce our new Love Your Mattress campaign - and a few of the stars of our TV commercial! - to the D/FW market through her version of the Sleep Experts story.  Thank you Cheryl!
