EFNT recognizes our community work with North Star Award

Sleep Experts is proud to be a recipient of the North Star Award, given to us by local non-profit Entrepreneurs for North Texas (EFNT) at their 12th annual Spirit of Entrepreneurship event held June 4th. This recognition goes to companies in the EFNT community who have demonstrated a powerful commitment to making a meaningful contribution to our neighborhoods. EFNT execs said, "Through their generous contribution of time, energy, creativity and resources, these award winners make North Texas the best place to live, work and raise our families." We were especially honored to be in the presence of such legendary entrepreneurs as Ebby Halliday (pictured here with Chris and Christine), Ross Perot, Herb Kelleher and T. Bingo Night with RMHD families

Members of our Share the Gift of Sleep team visitied the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas last week to host a Bingo Night. We gave out prizes to all the kids (we played until everybody had won a Bingo!) and met lots of nice families who are staying at the House while one of their children is being treated in a local hospital. Welcoming Ronald McDonald House of Austin

As we grow our presence in Austin, we continue to partner with wonderful non-profit organizations serving families in need. Last week we visited our newest Austin community partner Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas. The Share the Gift of Sleep Austin team hosted a Room Refresh, providing new furniture and redecorating one of the rooms to help make it a warm, welcoming space for families who stay at the House while their child is being treated at an area hospital. Visit isharethelove.org and purchase a Share the Love T-Shirt for just $15 and wear it proudly on May 17.

$15 is the amount families are asked to contribute when they stay at a Ronald McDonald House. However, no family is turned away due to the inability to pay. So your T-shirt purchase provides a good night’s sleep for a family with a sick or injured child.  What’s not to Love about that?

So buy a shirt and wear it on May 17, and Share the Love with a family in need.
