Our Blog - "Christine's Corner"

I'm Christine Cook, President of Sleep Experts. As a wife and mother of two, I am most proud of our company's commitment to serving D/FW families in need through our Rest Assured mattress donation program. Through this blog I hope to share news and stories that will inspire others to join us in supporting the many nonprofit organizations in our community that serve families and children in crisis.

And from time to time, I'll also share sleep tips, advice on finding the right mattress, or other fun news and information.  Thanks for reading, and we hope you "Love Your Mattress"!

Thank you Jody Dean!

I am so touched by Jody Dean at KLUV and his passion to help My Friend’s House. Jody truly cares and has made such a tremendous difference in the lives of abused children. This story began when KLUV asked Sleep Experts to find a beneficiary for their 2nd Annual “Ride for Charity.” Last year the ride raised over $2,000, and naturally we thought My Friend’s House would be the perfect choice since they were struggling to raise the final $395,000 by the early May deadline. Since learning about My Friend’s House and their pending deadline, Jody has worked tirelessly to help them. In fact, after he began talking about it, contributions came pouring in, and KLUV’s Ride for Charity raised over $10,000! Since then, KLUV listeners have contributed almost ALL the money needed. I am so moved by Jody’s passion and commitment to the children of North Texas and overjoyed by the generosity of the KLUV listeners. Thank you…thank you to everyone who has played a part in supporting My Friend’s House. What a difference you have made! To learn more, visit cityhouse.org.
