Our Blog - "Christine's Corner"

I'm Christine Cook, President of Sleep Experts. As a wife and mother of two, I am most proud of our company's commitment to serving D/FW families in need through our Rest Assured mattress donation program. Through this blog I hope to share news and stories that will inspire others to join us in supporting the many nonprofit organizations in our community that serve families and children in crisis.

And from time to time, I'll also share sleep tips, advice on finding the right mattress, or other fun news and information.  Thanks for reading, and we hope you "Love Your Mattress"!

Game Night with children at the Ronald McDonald House

On March 5th, a group of Sleep Experts employees volunteered at the new Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.  The House opened this past November and provides a place for out-of-town families to stay while their children are being treated for serious illnesses at area hospitals.  Our Rest Assured volunteers hosted a fun Game Night with the children.  In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day they decorated cookies and paper shamrocks.  The big hit of the night was a Bingo game with toys as prizes for the winning cards.  The families seemed to really enjoy the temporary escape from thinking about the reason they are staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  Before the children arrived, we got to tour the house and see the rooms fully decorated, with the beds that Sleep Experts donated last year.  We have posted some photos from the night for you to see. The Ronald McDonald House is a truly amazing place.
