An inspiring Mom

Last week we received a call from a Sleep Experts customer with a special mattress donation request.  His friend Brandi Todd had been stabbed and paralyzed from the waist down while watching her two young children at a park in Stephenville, Texas. Brandi would be returning to her home after four weeks of rehab at Baylor Hospital in Dallas - and she needed a bed to come home to. Through the good work of our Rest Assured team and our merchandising VP, we were able to donate a brand new Simmons Comforpedic mattress with an adjustable base that makes it function much like a hospital bed.  You may have heard about Brandi through the media as she has captured the attention of the DFW community and beyond.  She has surely inspired us through her incredible spirit, energy and faith as she recovers from this tragedy and vows to defy the doctors and walk again.
