Celebrating Mothers at Interfaith Housing Coalition

There were many wonderful Mothers at our 3rd annual Mother's Day dinner and family fun night at Interfaith Housing Coalition. Barbara's story reminds us what Sharing the Gift of Sleep is all about:

When Barbara and her husband KeJuan enrolled in Interfaith’s Home & Hope Residential Program in February 2011, both had been sleeping on the floor for three years, and none of their three children had ever slept in their own beds. Now the children have their own twin beds that they will take with them when they leave the program. When asked about her family’s stay at Interfaith Barbara said, “I’m honored to say how much of a blessing it is to have the support of our community. Oftentimes we don’t recognize that help is right around the corner until we’ve gone to the end of the street."
